I had a GREAT chat with my mom and dad yesterday. I related that the night before I had a tough time sleeping. Happy Jack ideas were running WILD in my mind. I told them how I worked on the blog, found a new picture and did a little write up.
After a few minutes of chit chat, the idea of the logo came up. Now when i first had the idea to start Happy Jack, I had this grand vision in my mind of as to what I wanted Happy Jack to look like. For me I was thinking: funky, fun and fresh. Sort of like a 'hippy' Health Care Line. Anyway, I had sketched this elaborate logo of a kangaroo, my products 'mascot,' but in the meantime, decided I would find a temporary one just to get the ball moving. Well, I emailed the temporary one to my dad and he loved it. He thought it was simple, easy and had a lot of impact. Mom agreed, she said,
"The simpler, the better."
After listening to them talk, I have to say I agreed with what they were saying. We sent a sketch to the graphic artist and things are really moving.
Yesterday I realized my parents were right. The most memorable products are those that have a 'no muss, no fuss' feel about them, and that is EXACTLY what I want for Happy Jack.
